Happy Birthday!
It's hard to believe, but today is my first child's 21st birthday! Time flies.
I remember that Sunday morning on the campus of Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary in Taytay, Philippines, when Tamara woke me up telling me she was in labor. Not realizing what the day ahead would have in store for us, I called Doug, the pastor of International Nazarene Fellowship, and told him I could not lead music that morning as planned.
We called the midwife who was walking with us through our first pregnancy. She came and did an initial exam.
"You've got a LONG way to go," she told us, "so settle in and fill up that kiddie pool with hot water."
